Here’s what will (temporarily) take over the BrewDog space in the Krog District

The expansive former BrewDog space in the Krog District will soon house a temporary pop-up from a collective of Atlanta hospitality professionals that will feature live music, food, events and sports viewing parties.

The pop-up concept is called LikeMinds, and it’s set to open later this spring, ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. It will take over the 14,700-square-foot space BrewDog left vacant after it closed in early March. LikeMinds is slated for a 120-day run from June to September.

Kelly Campbell, a partner at STHRN Hospitality Co., which runs Westside Motor Lounge, Echo Room and several Atlanta food and beverage concepts, is leading the pop-up alongside teams from Southern Culinary & Creative, Smith’s Olde Bar, Frazie’s Meat & Market and Bunker Design.

LikeMinds is an idea that was first born out of Echo Room, the jazz kissa listening bar in Westside Motor Lounge, Campbell said. The success of that bar, which specializes in vinyl DJ sets, led him to imagine what a festival that focused on an analog experience could look like.

When Brew Dog suddenly closed, it left a large property along the Eastside Beltline vacant, so 26th Street Partners, the developers behind Krog District, put out a request for proposal to see what could fill the space in time for the World Cup and peak Beltline season.

Campbell put forth LikeMinds, and it was selected to move forward.

When faced with the sudden reality of putting together a massive concept in eight weeks, Campbell and his team turned to the relationships and partnerships they’ve built with other industry professionals over the years to see who wanted to work on the concept.

The end result will be revealed in a few short weeks. LikeMinds will be open daily with consistent programming developed by Beau Nolen of Smith’s Olde Bar, including live music, guest DJs, a vinyl music program, billiards, bar games, themed events and sports viewing parties.

The interior won’t change much from what it was as BrewDog, but Campbell said they’ll be adding a stage for live performances, a DJ booth, bar games, improving the audio/visual capabilities and redecorating to fit the LikeMinds concept.

It will offer a menu of sandwiches and shareables created by Julian Hower of Smith’s and Mark Frazie of Frazie’s Meat and Market. Campbell said they may incorporate more pop-ups throughout the week as the concept develops.

On the weekends, LikeMinds will have brunch program from Hower inspired by his Vietnamese and barbecue concept Pho Cue, and the beverage menu from Dana Roberts of Westside Motor Lounge will feature draft cocktails, local beer to align with its “drink like a local” mission, wine, THC drinks and nonalcoholic beverages, Campbell said.

“We’re treating it as a 120-day summer festival,” he said.
